I know I am a little late writing the review, but I am getting ready to go on the same cruise next month and I thought I would recap our previous cruise from a couple of years ago. Overall we had a pleasant time on the ship. We only had a couple of bad experiences.
The boat overall was nice. It was older and you could tell that part of it was aged, but at the same time we expected that when we went. We stayed on the Riveria deck and was satisfied with our room overall. The dining was good. I went with a few people that get motion sickness so we didn't get to enjoy the formal dining but one night due to them getting sick. The buffets were average. They had most anything you would want and was willing to accommodate most of our request. One of the bartenders was from Romania and she was very rude. We had two 4 year olds that tried to get sodas from her and she would turn them away and would not serve them even with us sitting two tables away acknowledging her.
The other problem we had is getting on and off of the ships at the ports of call. They should have that portion a little more organized. They were herding people down the tiny hallways like cattle. It was totally a train wreck.
The beds were sort of uncomfortable and it was kind of small but I expected the small room size. The steward was amazing! He kept our room SPOTLESS! He was very helpful and gave us a lot of advice. The shower was nice and the water got very hot which is nice.
Very nice experience boarding and leaving the ship. Tampa was nice and we didn't have any trouble with where we parked or anything. Overall we were very satisfied.
