This was the worst cruise we have ever been on. We live in southampton and have been with Cunard ,princess, P&O, even disney! Arrival on ship met with queues for everything, not enough staff, chairs. Food was absolutely appalling, for instance, for lunch bangers and mash, cottage pie, Lancashire hot pot! No nice salads or fish. Asked head waiter and head chef to explain why this food, he said that is what you Brits want!!! Cheek of him!! We went many times to complain about food, attitude of staff. We were so bored with the food we didn't even bother going to lunch, some dining experience that was!! Evening meal ok, I only sent two meals back! The ship was so disorganised, we waited over one hour to embark after visiting Madera, felt sorry for older people and kids. they only opened one gangway even the staff were late for duty! Some of the staff were rude in their attitude. towards the end of the trip day 7 or 8 they started getting their act together but still a long way off. We were so glad to arrive back in Southampton, the atmosphere go the ship was awful. everyone was complaining!

Port Reviews

Madeira (Funchal)

We did use the coach which cost us £16 dollars then realised it was only a short walk not as far as they told us. we walked back and had to wait over 1 hour to embark as they only had one gangway open, even the staff were late back!
