We truly enjoyed our 10 day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Pearl from April 6 to April 16 2015. The cruise was 10 days of amazing relaxation, beautiful sights, and awesome delights. We felt very pampered aboard the Pearl, with a wonderful, caring staff, perfect weather, and the beautiful islands we visited, the trip was magical. I tell you honestly,
The WHOLE staff made us really feel welcome from the time of boarding until we disembarked!!! Very friendly staff! NCL Pearl is a truly beautifully appointed cruise ship with a crew whose total focus is on their passengers. The ship is not too large or too small. The ship is well laid out, and is easy to navigate.
The Pearl offers Non stop entertainment-trivia games, movies, stage shows. There was a juggler, comedian and hypnotist. Lots of fun and lots of laughs.
We had an inside stateroom and I was really pleased with it's size and space. Even though the size of the bathroom was large enough with a nice large sink and plenty of shelves for storage, a shower big enough for two people, the toilet was oddly positioned so that you had to sit side saddle to avoid hurting your knees on the wall. There was plenty of room in the bathroom for drying off and dressing, and décor was very nice. In the bedroom section there was room enough to store our belongings as well as room to dress and get ready in the mornings. The bedding and pillows in the cabin were super comfy, and the cabin was extremely quiet. This made for some great sleeping!
We met lots of darling squirrel monkeys here and went on an awesome bus tour.
Went to a look out point where you can see the Atlantic Ocean on the left and
the Caribbean sea on the right.
We walked around the town for a bit and then took a bus for a fun tour of Tortola.
You can't go wrong finding a tour group to tour this island. I love meeting the people and seeing the sights.
We found a nice market place to shop at and then took a taxi for an island tour. We enjoyed and had a very a nice time. The tour was very pretty and informative. The beach was clean and beautiful.
Just took a walk around the port to get a sense of the local ways. We went to a nifty craft market where you could buy anything and everything- spices, fruits, nuts, live chickens etc. Interesting indeed.
Miami oh how I love you! So warm and wonderful. Better to be in Miami then cold Ohio!
I loved sailing out from Miami and this time at night it was even more magical.
We walked around the port meeting folks and experiencing the locals ways.
We also went shopping and then went on an open air bus tour. We visited Magens bay beach which is beautiful.
