Would do this cruise again in a heartbeat. Would recommend it to anyone. But if you have mobility issues, you need to plan ahead. We walked miles every day.

Ship's excursions were very expensive but very worth it. Not only did they get us into all the museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Mark's at night, Hagia Sophia, Topapki Palace, etc., they guaranteed that the ship would not leave without us. The ship waited more than an hour one night for a bus to get back from an excursion and we left late from at least three different ports due to people being stuck in traffic. If those folks had been on a private tour, they probably would have been left behind. Our room steward, Arnel, was amazing! Felt like we were staying at a five star hotel. Drinks were very expensive but you can bring on soda, water, wine, etc. from Barcelona. Take snacks because these are some very very long days off the ship. Make sure you research days of the week that you will be in certain ports before booking. The museums are closed in Florence on Mondays, the Vatican is limited on Wednesdays, etc. April and May are probably the best possible months to go but if you want to swim/scuba, wait till at least May. Cabin was smallest we have ever had for a balcony. Sink area of bathroom was tiny but shower was big (for a cruise cabin).

Food in main dining room was usually pretty good. The grilled shrimp, salmon and steaks were usually good. Pasta dishes were good but some nights the menu lacked variety. La Trattoria was the best meal we had on the ship. Le Bistro was good. Cagney's was not very special. Menus are available for preview in the buffet restaurant. Buffet restaurant has the best deserts on the ship. There is food everywhere. You will not go hungry.

Smallest cabin we have ever had with a balcony. Little drawer space but shower was bigger than some we have had.
