Cruise History: This was our 7th cruise with prior cruises on Disney, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean. We are a family of 3 with a tween girl. Prior to the cruise, I read all the Star reviews as well as the NCL Boards to get hints.

Embarkation: We arrived at the pier at 12:00. The lines were a little long but moved fast. By 12:25 we were on the ship and in our cabin.

Cabin: 10730 is an aft balcony. The balcony is approx 8 x 11 and looked double that of a regular balcony cabin. The cabin is near a kitchen air vent. Most of the time we were treated to the smell of baking cookies and baking bread. The hallway is very wide near the room and there was little traffic at the back of the ship. The cabin was very clean with only minor signs of wear. The only real problem we had was that the cabin only had 2 sets of towels. It took a phone call to the front desk to get the 3rd set. Then it took an additional day to get the 3rd pool towel. Thus, for the first day at sea, we had to share 2 pool towels. Not a major issue, but a problem which could have been handled faster. Also, on 2 days the cabin was not made-up until after 1 PM even though we vacated it before 10:00 AM.
