My fiancé and I have been on many carnival cruises in the past which we have enjoyed very much and that's why we chose to take it again but very disappointed in this cruise we just took.
First thing that happened when we booked, I over looked the option to have our prices in CAD dollars, which was my mistake, and at the time our dollar to US dollars was really bad. We ended up paying an additional 600 dollars CAD. So I called carnival to see if they could do anything for us as this cruise was already the most expensive one we have ever taken so with the additional 600 on to that price it was just killer.
Lady that answered in their customer service line was very rude, said I should have switch it to CAD dollars when booking, said that "this is a wonderful cruise, one of the best and that it will be worth every penny." When I said I don't doubt it will be a nice cruise she said well I don't know what you want me to do for you.... We would have been happy even with like a 50 dollar voucher.... Anything!
