We have only sailed on the Ruby Princess round the Med a couple of years ago and having read some reviews and was a little apprehensive, I don't think the Carribean Princess is as good as the Ruby but we still enjoyed her company.

We did a B2B commencing on the 11th of April, we travelled from Manchester (UK) two days prior to make sure we arrived ok, we stayed at an hotel the first night as Princess had booked our second night in the Intercontinental at Doral, something needs to be addressed with regards to the meet and greet at Miami Airport, we arrived back at the airport to meet and transferred to the hotel no representative, every other companies representative were there and helped us page several times over the airport tannoy but alas he/she did not arrive, with this very poor service we took ourselves to the hotel.

Transfer from the hotel to the port was very good our representative at the hotel (June) was really well organised, transfer onto the ship was quick and efficient, our cabin was on Caribe deck which had a very large balcony, we would pick the deck again, cabin was clean and we were met by our cabin steward who was very friendly.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BE

Really well laid out cabin, clean throughout no noise from lifts etc, the best part was the balcony it was very large in comparison to all the cabins above and even the mini suites below, brilliant advise from our travel advisor, would recommend this cabin.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Really nice beach experience, plenty of food and drink provided from the Carribean Princess, beach was clean with lot of water activities, if you want to have a quite day turn right on leaving the ship they tend to herd you to the left to have the obligatory photographs taken

St. Maarten

Our favourite Carribean Island, if you want to have an experience of watching aircraft nearly touching your head then take taxi to Maho beach great day or just walk to the beach from the cruise port bucket of beer (5) or negotiate and you will get 6, two sun beds and umbrella for $25 sorted........
