This short cruise was offered to waitrose store card members and went to Le Havre with shore excursions to Paris and the surrounding areas. Had a fantastic time in Paris as part of a small tour group. Shuttle Buses provided. A substantial number of people never left the ship at all or got the free shuttle.

The ship itself has had a re fit but very little has changed. The popular public areas have been maintained and a new set of Evening Shows introduced. A Violin band called Fuze gave a great performance and speakers Ben Fogle and Jenny Bond were interesting guest speakers . The cabins was kept clean and public areas tidied quickly. The ship has the Lawn area and Glass display which create a nice atmosphere on deck, and good swimming pool with jacuzzi and loungers.

The Main Sonata restaurant gives an accepetable standard of cuisine, but on Celebrity more than any other line, there is a big difference between the quality of food served in the main restaurant and the chargeable venues. In these extra venues the quality is regarded as excellent and level with a top London Restaurant.Unfortunately however service in the main restaurant suffered from some cold vegetables, tougher cuts of red meat and thin soup etc. In the self service area the food was well stocked and popular at all times.
