Room 1015 was the worst room ever - because of its location. (The room iteself was fine and our room steward was excellent).   I am a Gold Member, been on many cruises, and generally enjoy balcony rooms on deck 10. However, Room 1015 is directly under the Spa, on this ship, and the start dropping the weights at 7:00 AM with earth shattering crashes. CARNIVAL NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR POLICY TO  "NO WEIGHT DROPPING" whether using free weights or machine.  Oh well, who needs to sleep in when on vacation.

We drove to Miami and love the view from the ship.  We reside in Florida and have been to Miami and believe it is a very beautiful, picturesque city.  When crusing, however, we are just driving to the port and viewing from the port.

Great music, beautiful beach, great drinks!  We noticed there is a small play area for kids.  Carnival DJ joined us on the beach and provided the entertainment.

Danny was our tour guide and mixologist.  He provided us with a history of San Juan and pointed out attractions and landmarks on our walking tour to the mixology class and salsa lessons.

We were taken to a flea market type, tented area where merchants sold their wares.  Prices were very good but it was congested and the area didn't feel very safe.

We were put into an open air safari-type vehicle and driven on unpaved roads with huge potholes touring which must be the worst part of the island.  First stop was an old church that was locked - you could exit the vehicle if you chose to and walk around.  Then we went to a prison and were shown and old, abandoned US Military base, and the principal of the elementary school and the HS school principal's homes as well as the utility manager's home.  It was a waste of time and money.  No excursion is needed here unless you like to swim with sea creatures.  The resort area right off the dock, Margaritaville, is EXCELLENT!  Wished we just spent the day there.  Fun activities, fun DJ, great drinks - beautiful pools - nice and clean and refreshing - and a gorgeous beach with crystal clear water.

Margaritaville at Grand Turk was a great place to hang out - the DJ was excellent - music was great - he held contests and just made it a fun atmosphere; no need for shore excursions in Grand Turk unless you was to swim with sea creatures.We were given a tour along the route to our destinations - the first stop was a restaurant that served us delicious homemade pina coladas made with fresh coconut cream and fresh pineapple and Don Q rum.
