I totally agree with the comment titled "Great food and entertainment on an overcrowded, noisy, poorly designed ship."

We're also Platinum Latitudes members and obviously enjoy NCL cruises. This time we were dissappointed.

The Atrium was the loudest place on the ship, with music and games and demos taking up almost every hour of the day. It's so loud that you can't ask a question at the service desk because you can't hear yourself.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

The cabin was nice, but there were no drawers to stack your clothes. There were drawers under the couch, but they had extra blankets and pillows in them, so they weren't really usable. The bathroom was large for a cruise ship. There was actually room to sit on the toilet without putting your feet in the shower. The bed was OK, but I really dislike the duvet being wrapped in a sheet because when I get hot at night, I have no covers to throw off unless I unwrap it. Another thing I dislike is that the bottom sheet is ALWAYS coming undone. Why don't they get fitted sheets?

Port Reviews

Nassau

It was raining. The town is dirty and the shops are the same that you'll find on any other island. I got tired of people begging me to come into their stores. The straw market is now downtown in an overcrowded building. There are no bargins to be had.

St. Thomas

The boat docks about a mile from town, so we decided to get some exercise. The Havensight open air shopping area was really nice. Free WIFI at Bad Ass Coffee. The password was banana the last 2 times we were there. Be nice though and buy at least one drink. They let you sit there forever.

We bought a watch on board and then found it in a shop in town for $75 less. The shops won't give you anything in writing, but I managed to get a picture of the calculator beside the watch to prove to the NCL people that we could find a better deal. They honored their price guantee.
