Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Inside Stateroom 10

The ship was clean. The decorations were a bit modern, somewhat cold and a bit sterile but very tasteful and pleasant (obviously just not our thing). The highlight of our trip was our waiter and the table of six we sat with at the late seating - and the food was very good. Kosanto, our waiter, Jim & Alison, Mark & Donna made for a great trip. The editor's review says these ships have a bit more space, that was not our experience but we travel pretty much inside cabin. The bed was in the middle of the room so you had to navigate around the bed upon entering to reach the seating/living area (far from ideal).

We were surprised to have several small problems; they lost our suit bag for 3 days and returned it with different hangers and a number of holes in the bag, though the clothes were just fine; we had to ask for extra blankets several times, they supplied two Celebrity towels for use ashore and made it clear that we would be charged for them if lost and then they took them from us after an excursion and gave us the normal pool towels (they assured us it was OK and we were not charged but...) and they scooped up one of our sandals when picking up the towels and after taking the other one to match it could never find either. They made it right in the end but the process was very bumpy (they asked us to fill our a claim form twice, once when the incident happened and then again when I checked on my bill toward the end - when we returned home we checked after a week to see if corporate had gotten the claim and they had not, knew nothing about it).

I lost my ship card (room key and on board credit card) and went to have it replaced which was very easy, quick and smooth - except they didn't tell me that it invalidated my wife's card. She was locked out of our room for awhile and went to get her card fixed where they told her this would happen to my card so she went looking for me to replace our cards together. Three trips and lots of time seemed a bit unnecessary. Technology should allow them to replace one card or at least policy should cause them to give you two new cards the first time.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 10

Cabin 10

The cabin was nicely appointed. The layout was very troublesome. The bed was in the middle of the room (as you enter from front to back) and you had to get around it to get to the seating area. This cabin in located in a middle isle and must be near so crew passages. It was very noisy early in the morning.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Port Everglades is easy to get to, close to the airport and good hotels. It seems to be well laid out with good terminals. We like New Orleans better but PE is more active.
