Just finished 15 days on Scenic Pearl, Basel to Amsterdam. From the moment they greet you everything is first class all the way. It's cruising in a 5 star hotel. All crew excellent, food different every day and all excellent meals. Entertainment great and varied. Lots of tours at each port to pick from and tour guides wonderful. One exception though. An Historic Steam Train Ride thru Black Forrest is a tour offered, we took it, and being that one of us had been in the actual Black Forrest this tour was NOT in the forrest but in the valley far away from the Black Forrest, so don't do this tour.

We had cabin 308 on Diamond Deck. Mid ship cabins are best ones to get and if you can afford Diamond Deck (top deck) then do it. Cabin was spacious and well appointed, they even thought to supply ear plugs for light sleepers. Their attention to detail is exceptional. The balconies have two chairs and a small table and are lovely to sit on and watch the world go by and also great if you want room service meals. We will book another Scenic River Tour and have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star review.
