Sail Date: Apr 2015

This was my first cruise with my wife, we went to support a friend who is disabled and confined to an electric wheelchair. We were very excited to be going as our friend explained how great it would be, as he had sailed earlier that year with another cruise liner. Within hours of being on bored we knew it was going to be the worst holiday ever. We went to the Windjammer buffet for lunch and spent at least 15 mins trying to find a table to eat at, that was basically the case for the next 10 days. We went out to the deck area by the pool on level 11 and once again no seats, no chairs, no tea and coffee facilities, this was the same around the whole of the ship, in the bars, club areas,it was just so poor, especially with mostly old people on board who need seats, the only place seats were available was in the casino and that i needed a nicorete patch after being in there.

The restaurants we visited were good with the service but the food was tasteless especially the steaks (which we paid extra for) i asked for medium rare, it came served well done! The Italian Giovanni's was bizarre also as when we arrived we were greeted by all the staff saying "hello" in Spanish. Johnny Rockets food was good and the waiter Melvin was great (again we paid extra).

The shops especially the jewelry/watch shop was a joke, they were selling Invicta watches with labels on asking for $995.00, these watches sell on Amazon for between £60-£150, but because they were offering up to 75% discount they were down to $300 or so, and people were thinking they were getting a good deal, don't get me wrong they were nice watches but that is just a disgrace putting the recommended price of $995.00.
