Sail Date: Dec 2008

Our 7-day cruise began in Puerto Rico on December 14th, and visited St. Thomas, Grenada, Dominica, Bonaire and Aruba.

Overall, I would rate the cruise and ship very good. The ship itself was huge and nicely-appointed, but nothing about it was jaw-dropping. I (and others) frequently had problems finding our way around due to inadequate signage.

Our room steward was very cheerful and accommodative we tipped him $20. The room itself was pretty much what I expected, and the bed was about six inches wider than a regular queen and quite comfortable. We got new towels twice a day. There was plenty to do during the cruise, both on and off the ship. The excursions booked through Princess were fine (avoid the butterfly farm, however), albeit a tad pricey compared with those available at the docks. The staff was generally friendly just don't open a door marked "Staff Only."

Cabin Review

Some "thudding" sounds early in the morning, apparently from passengers above with "heavy feet" not too bothersome, however. Just enough storage space, fairly large balcony, great super-queen sized bed, okay bathroom. Couldn't reasonably ask for more.
