A little about us before I go ahead and write my review so you can see from my POV: we are EXPERIENCED cruisers, almost exclusively with Carnival, some with Norwegian, and a little bit of MSC. We know a little bit can go a long way as we both work in the service industry, at the same time we know how hard it is to please people. Some understand this, some thinks because they paid X amount of $ they deserve to be waited hand and foot. We are not like that. So without further ado:

First of all, the trip served its purpose. It was just a weekend getaway with the family and the first cruise for my 7 month old son. The embarkation was fast as they gave us priority with the baby. But, as far as I saw from the regular line, it seemed organized if not long; it was moving however. When we entered into the ship, we were welcomed by 2 employees and we felt like home. We were given instructions kindly after asking and they seemed happy to help us; service with a smile.

We arrived around 1300, and about 1330 is when we entered the ship and was told the rooms were all ready. So we went to the room to drop off our luggage and found the playpen and fridge was already there. From previous reviews sometimes this was not the case. Our room attendant Francisco was very kind and followed our requests fully, ie buckets of ice, turn down service, and the removal of the playpen. The room was not impressive. I believe Carnival inside cabins were bigger; if equal then the arrangement of the room made it even smaller. The closet has minimal space inside as they were rods going ever which way. The safe was very old and stuck out like a sore thumb from the wall of the closet, making space even more limited. The bathroom was a little bit bigger than Carnival, but it lacked the samples of razors, shampoo, soap, etc that Carnival's bathroom would bring. We had to take the vanity chair out, since the fridge was optional, it took the space of where the chair would have been placed within the vanity table. The fridge itself was very old and beat up, and in big bold letters in front said, "For medications only," hinting to the fact the fridge was used once for the med station. But it served its purpose.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Terrible, very small, floor spacing sucks. No closet space, fridge is optional so if you do get it, it takes more away from the floor space. Bed was average. Playpen was brought in but it took up so much space, we just told the attendant to take it away.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Since we've been innumerable times we just walked around. However, we were sad to find out the lil Philippines restaurant is not located near the port anymore. The straw market has been overhauled and looked improved.
