2nd cruise ever, 1st with Carnival, we had an amazing time. Food was great on the Lido deck, Guys Burgers were better than we hoped. The MDR was hit or miss so we always checked the menu prior to deciding if we would go to the buffet to eat.
We visited Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize and Cozumel. The only place we did excursions was in Belize. We did the River Cruise & Mayan Ruins tour. Definitely worth the money. However, you will not have anytime in port to shop. Roatan was least favorite so we headed back to the ship. With the Clam Shells on the beach at the front, nobody else had a view of the ocean. Too small of an area for even 2 ships to get in the water.
The shows on board were great!! Epic Rock was our favorite!!
Cabin itself was nice. The view was breathtaking. But it was under the show stage and when I wanted to sleep it was VERY loud.
Luckily we were Platinum so we made it on the ship quickly. The area we waited in was comfortable. Parking was a bit confusing and a little walk even with Handicapped permit.
Loved this port. Everything was convenient. Getting in port so early meant some of the places weren't opened yet. There is a place called Rum Stop to the right when you leave the gated area, check them out. They have great Rum Cake samples and Rum as well. I bought a bottle of Big Black Dick Rum, Dark Chocolate...Next trip I will get a few.
The shopping area was nice, very compact & convenient. We had considered taking the Magic Beach Ride but for $15.00 each we opted to walk. The trail we walked on was paved, the plants were beautiful. Very beach area was overly congested.
The layout of the port was nice. We wandered in the Cruise area & ventured out to the market across the street. On the way back to the Ship we stopped at 3 Amigos. They make one heck of a drink!!
