What a dissapointment. My husband and I have been on many cruises, with lots of different cruise lines. Expected this cruise to be high up on the list. Mr Thompson you set mediocre standards and fail to attain them. A glorified rust bucket, you even had to pay for the water on fully inclusive package ! The food served in the Orion Restaurant was bland and sometimes cold, the showers were dangerously hot and the toilets which were not plentiful were often blocked. The lifts were extremely slow, the air con in our room didn't work, and embarkation was at a snails pace, a lot of passengers were getting irate as they were hot and thirsty, but no welcoming glass of water available.

There was only a handful of positive views on this cruise, the first being the fantastic crew, without these lovely people the ship would sink ! This ship apparently had a refurb last November, but honestly, I think it had a slight lick of paint and lots of silicone. The whole ship is in a bad state of repair, loose decking, loose toilets, shabby carpets and curtains. On the drinks package I could have got a pint glass of spirits at no cost, but yet, had to pay for a bottle of water. Not logical! As soon as you get on the boat they want your money. The one day it rained, the tried to sell flimsy bin liner type ponchos for £3.50! Cheek.
