Cabin
8287 - Clean, quiet and in the middle of the ship.  The Promenade could be seen via the indoor window.  Heard all the parades but not too loud.  You are viewing the tops of the entertainer’s heads.  If you wish to have a better view of the parades you may wish to be on the 7th floor.  Plenty of room for 2 people - would be crowded with more.  Slight wear and tear to rooms - nothing very noticeable.  Facilities were clean and worked well.

Belize - book a trip here - the actual shopping port area is not that interesting.  You take a tender boat from ship to Belize.  Get in line the day before and prove that you are on a private excursion or they will not let you off until after about 11 am.  The information is not clear from the boat - so ask and then ask again. Try to get a tender boat with tags 1 or 2.  Ensure that your private tour operator will wait for you.  If you go with Royal they will take you on a separate tendering system.  My recommendation is Belizean Exotic Adventures.  We took a city and Rum factory tour with Jenny and she was absolutely fabulous!  She gave us so much insight into the every day life of the people of Belize.  We had the time of our life and for a private tour with the 2 of us it was perfect.  The meal at  a local restaurant was included we will not soon forget the fish, chicken and rice beans etc.  Nicolai and Sheena were welcoming.  Jenny was warm and friendly.  The minivan was clean and well air conditioned.

A good area to disembark from  - stayed at Renaissance Port Everglades - excellent front desk service, close to restaurants and Walgreens.  Close to airport and port.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Cozumel - A well-established port of call.  Here you dock and simply walk off.  There are multiple piers - be sure to note which one you are leaving.  Loads of shopping both on and off the port sites.  Much opportunity to rent a jeep, scooter or motorcycle.  Did Papito’s Beach for the day - overall - good facilities - friendly people but the weather was breezy so the waves were rough.  The sand is beautiful.  Chairs were suitable.  The umbrella was appreciated.  We booked a snorkel package but it was cancelled due to weather.  There was no compensation. Would not go back - one employee noted that the waves were often rough in this area.

Did Papito’s Beach for the day - overall - good facilities - friendly people but the weather was breezy so the waves were rough.We had the time of our life and for a private tour with the 2 of us it was perfect.
