This was my 4th cruise. The other 3 had all been on Carnival so when we started planning this family trip, I focused on other cruise lines with the expectation that NCL would be a "step up" from Carnival. We booked a balcony cabin which was great.
The positives: The ports of call were wonderful. Our cabin steward, Mark, was amazing and very personable. The bar staff around the pool were also very helpful and fun.
The downsides: The ship is older, but still functional. The pool is very limiting - small pool and no real features.
