I arrived home yesterday after spending 7 days on the Caribbean Princess and had to share my latest experience on our Princess vacation. We have been loyal Princess cruisers for the past 4 years, taking 5 out of our last 5 cruises on different Princess ships and we fully expected that this cruise would be as great as all the rest.

Well, not exactly.....when we arrived in Ft Lauderdale we went to baggage pickup and expected that the Princess Rep would be waiting, not the case, I had to go hunting for him. When I found him he told me to "get my luggage" meet him at the "far" end of the terminal (in the past the Rep would get a cart, help us to get our luggage and then wheel the luggage with us in tow to the bus). We were exhausted by the time we got to the "far" end of the terminal. We had chosen to purchase the additional night stay through Princess so that we could begin our vacation fully rested and this turned out as expected.

On Saturday, filled with excitement, we were picked up and headed for the ship. We were told that because we had booked a Mini Suite we would have priority check in. Well, that didn't happen. We got in one line that indicated "suite checkin" and were told that our Mini Suite didn't qualify and we needed to get in another line. I would have expected that since no one was behind us that the Princess Rep would have just checked us in but still we were in the wrong line......
