This was my first Carnival cruise, and I can see why someone that has never cruised another cruiseline might be impressed. But they have no idea!

My first concern was before we even boarded. The older gentleman that was checking us in took forever from the time he finished with the couple ahead of us before he was ready to begin our check-in. Which would have been fine except that when we were finally called forward and handed him our completed health questionaires (that are mostly questions geared toward illness and potential exposure to ebola), he realized that he had forgotten to collect the questionaires from the previous couple. He started to go after them, but realized that they were long-gone by then.

After boarding but prior to departure, my cabinmate and I decided to grab some grub. The female employee that was supposed to be slicing the hot beef was too busy playing with a male employee to realize that I was waiting to be served. A fews days later, while eating cole slaw from the lunch buffet, my cabinmate found a long blond hair (we both have short, dark hair). GROSS!
