Having just completed a mini trip to brussels & le havre on Arcadia . We were looking forward to a relaxed trip having paid the extra to upgrade to a suite.

We duly arrived at 12.45 after problems with entry to the port gate ( Not P & O but an accident on route to Aurora cruise terminal). Having arrived and suitcases off loaded,the first batch of people at the entry were a group of hen party with offensive sweatshirts joining the cruise , check in was good but again we had to ask for were we go for priority check in ,the room was as promised and all suite facilities in place .

Having our walk around, we lunched on a cold burger up on the upper deck and upon walking around ship as you do, we noticed the Meridian open,upon enquiry this was open for Suite guests ( Not the best of P & O communication as never advised at check in) Having been on many cruises with P & O and having myself been refused entry to a bar without a jacket expected standards to be maintained . Having complied with dress code only to find the hen party tables dressed in sailor outfits with large blow up members doing games with whistles etc is not what you expect and feel sorry for passengers sampling a first cruise. Overall P & O need raise the standards on these mini cruises ,think about what they want to gain ,as for us this will be a last short cruise due to the drop in standards expected and received on all other P & O cruises lets hope they get better as we are booked on Brittania in December
