Just returned from our cruise on 4/25, we sailed to Aruba, Bonaire and Grand Turk. Had an AWESOME cruise with the Valor, crew members were great. Entire crew plus passengers were very friendly, didn't have any rude or unpleasant encounters. First night ate in the steakhouse, service was great but a little slow between courses. They tell you to allow 2 hrs for meal, our dinner lasted 2 3/4 hrs and we aren't slow eaters. Have to give HUGE raves to the SHOGUN casino. Andrew (casino manager), Diana (casino hostess) and Cletus ( slot manager) were superb. First Carnival casino I have ever been in where you get coffee, tea and Danish in the morning. Cabin steward ALI on deck 7 suites- is GREAT!!
Must give a GREAT review to one of our excursions. GRAND TURK -ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE BEACH BREAK- duration 5.5 hrs, price $79.99. The excursion went to BAJARI BEACH. The location was pristine, the beach and water were gorgeous. My husband went snorkeling and had an AWESOME time. The water is perfectly clear and beautiful. Make sure you take beach shoes, as the area has rocks. The food was great- jerk chicken, fish, red beans and rice, assorted veggies and cold salads. Rum punch, local beers, soda and bottled water. My husband has an issue with onions and the staff was GREAT!! LEROY the cook made special fish for him without onions. Bartenders Salem and Crusher were AWESOME. Hostesses Jackie and Stephanie were wonderful. This excursion is well worth the money.transportation back to port was a little slow. However, after getting back to port and seeing how crowded the Margaritaville pool and bar were with two ships in port--- was very happy we went on the excursion.
Awesome- cabin steward ALI is GREAT! Very quite location.
