My wife and I sailed on the NCL Jade in late March-early April for the 11 night Western Med cruise itinerary. It was our first cruise and we had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived at the port to board to the final day when we got off the ship, everything was top notch and we felt completely valued by all the NCL employees. We will cruise NCL again!

The embarkation and disembarkation processes were flawless. We arrived early in the window of time we could embark the ship. We had our luggage dropped off, documents scanned, credit card ran, and identification cards printed in less than 20 minutes. We were on the ship 30 minutes after we got out of our car (private car that we arranged from Rome). Disembarkation was just as flawless thanks to the fact that we could choose the time we wanted to get off the ship and again had a private car waiting for us. We walked off the ship, was pointed to where our bags were, grabbed them and loaded them in our waiting vehicle. We were back in Rome 70 minutes later and able to get another day of touring accomplished.

Our stateroom, 10th floor, outside suite with balcony, mid-ship, port side, was better than we could hope for. The bed was nice (we slept better on the ship than we normally do at home) and the the bathroom was much larger than we thought it would be, including a great shower with very hot water and great pressure. Our stateroom attendant, Desi, was so kind and helpful and went out of her way to not only provide us great service twice per day but also greeted us by name each and every time we passed her in the hallway.
