We have cruised many many times - but never on Carnival. We stay mostly loyal to Royal. But, have done disney, princess and now Carnival. I had read reviews and we decided to go because of a special group of friends that were going on the cruise.

I know there was a massive refurbishment- but, I am not certain where. The worst part of the cruise was the water .... deck 6 had 40 rooms that were affected by leaks. There was water at one point coming down the elevator aft deck 3. There were no fewer than 6 buckets in the hallways on deck 7 dealing with leaking. I could not believe the large amount of leaking that we had to deal with. Prior reviews support this is not an isolated incident.

The food was just horrible. We liked Guys grill burgers and the BLT from room service. We started ordering several starters, entrees and desserts- just hoping to find something that was not horrible. Read more
