We just returned from a 5 night cruise on the Brilliance from Tampa to the western Caribbean. Sailed with DH, DS, and DD and hubby plus 2 grandkids. We ALL had a great time. I loved the Brilliance; the decor is simply elegant. Spaces like the Schooner Bar and Colony Club- with their dark wood and nautical decor- were classy but comfortable. Also enjoyed the many mini-balconies overlooking the Centrum. We shared 2 connecting junior suites and found them extremely spacious. So much storage space (love the walk-in closet!) plus a tub in the bathroom!

We ate every night in the MDR, and every meal was terrific. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and enjoyed every bite. The Windjammer was busy, but we were able to find seating for 7 fairly quickly each time. I finally got to taste one of the famous roast beef sandwiches at the Park Cafe- yummy! Drink service could be improved; it seems no one wants to wait on passengers asking for soda refills.

The grandkids (ages 11 and 15) kept busy with lots of fun activities- the 11-year-old especially. He did rock-climbing, played in the arcade, played mini-golf and volleyball, swam, played bingo, and participated in several trivia games with us. Both of the kids took a peek at the kids' club, but neither one seemed interested.

Loved all the space! Large bed with a good-sized pullout couch. The walk-in closet was awesome, with extra shelving inside. We had so much storage space in the drawers and cabinets that we had many empty spaces. The bath tub was an extra nice feature of the JS.
