Just returned from 7 nights on Allure of the Seas. If this ship has 6000 people on it, I have no idea where they were! We never felt crowded, we never had to wait, the crew is awesome and so organized. When we arrived at the airport we had purchased a transfer. About an hour after landing we had our luggage and we were on our way. Nice Air Conditioned Bus with a very nice man driving it. Gave us some direction on the way about what to do when we arrived at Port. They handle your luggage so we just got off the bus and entered the terminal. Royal had given us a time of 1:30 to Board and we were right around that time. We waited maybe ten minutes to check in. Once we checked in we walked right onto the ship. You enter this ship on the Promenade Deck. The second we entered we were in awe. This is such a beautiful ship. The Promenade is much larger then their other ships. We grabbed our first slice of Sorrento's Pizza and set off to explore!

We were allowed into our the rooms almost immediately. Our state room was on Deck 14. We had a Balcony room. The rooms are lovely. Not much bigger or smaller then other ships we have been on, but really adequate. The Balcony was large and had a small table and two chairs. We met Stephan or room steward and he was awesome! Brought us ICE and pillows right away and we never wanted for anything all week! We definitely left him a WOW and extra $$.

We took advantage of the first night dining discount and ate our dinner at CHOPS. This CHOPS is located in the Central Park neighborhood. This is bigger then CHOPS on the Adventure. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. We were immediately seated and our server who admitted to us was new at CHOPS but not new to the ship was excellent. Whatever he did not know, he went and found out. We did notice that CHOPS has some items on the menu that are an extra charge on top of the fee already spent. We did not order those items. I guess food costs are really rising and it must be difficult for the industry. However, the items on the menu that are part of the fee are unbelievable. The best Filet I have ever had. Awesome Bernaise on the side, and they brought a little bit of all the sides to try. Dessert was a wonderful cheesecake! Lovely meal, excellent service, CHOPS never disappoints.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Lovely cabin. Beds are so comfy. Flat screen TV...nice Deck, with Deck furniture. Ample storage. Deck 14....loved this deck. We had our own Sun Deck on Deck 14 that few people knew about.....felt like our own private Yacht!
