I have read many reviews. I am Diamond Plus on RCCL, but have sailed other lines. I kept reading the bad reviews about the food and the service. I don't know what ships they were on but our cruise was wonderful. We had a JS on Deck 10 #1366. Great location, big room with a walk in closet, bathroom has a bath tub. Our only problem was the beds. They were really hard. We asked our room steward, Richard, for an egg crate mattress pad and by the afternoon we had them on the bed. It really helped.

The food was good, in both the dinning room and Windjammer. No, it is not 4 star, but we found something we really liked every night. The first night I tried the eggplant parmigiana, it was dry, so I did not eat it. The waiter came right over and ask what else would I like. If you do not like something, do not be afraid to try something else. If you try MTD and like your waiter, just let the people in the front when you walk in that you would like the same table and waiter again. They will do their best to accommodate you.

If you ask and are polite, you will usually get what you need. We found most of the crew to be friendly and helpful. We had no problem with bar service.

Excellent location, did not heard noise from deck 11 unless you were on your balcony. Hard beds, but asked for the egg crate pad and it was much better.
