Sail Date: Mar 2015
Cabin: Inside Stateroom 10

Our 31st cruise, second on the Eclipse. April 2014 and 2015. Sole reason we chose Eclipse a second time was because of the 14 night duration, destination and month.

Pros: Very stable ship, public areas well looked after, cabin size adequate, soundproofing a success but quality of mattresses very limited.

Cons: Food quality proposed on Sonata Dining room and on the Lido deck, very disappointing when comparing to other ships we have been on including some of Carnival's. Limited choice of appetizers, canned vegetables, small portions of meat (3 lamb squares with meat the size of a quarter) same critics for rib-eye and expect polenta almost every evening.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 10

Cabin 10

Great cabin dimension and simple decor. Toilet would have needed a good bleaching. Shower drain overflew.

Port Reviews

Miami

One positive aspect of the Eclipse is that you will always find a factsheet on the daily ports with informations like taxi rates or local buses, beaches with their conditions. very useful but available at the front desk not widely distributed.

Curacao

Curaccao is a vibrant city. Fishermen selling from their boat, lovely open-air market but do not expect bargain purchases on this island.

All ilsland developped by th Dutches, ar clean and welcoming but you are still "a tourist".

Antigua

Poor and dirty. Sewage odors everywhere.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Love to walk around and admire the sceneries. But from our past expériences, the beaches are not superb.

Grenada

Open-air sewages. Terrible smell all around.
