Our expectations were low given the legend of Ensenada booze cruises. I'm happy to report the cruise was better than expected and delivered on every published claim.

Departure and return were a snap using the early boarding program (around $50 per cabin). Just be sure to make sure your boarding documents have the special logo on them or the guard dog for the line won't let you in (GRRRRRR). Since you can opt to carry on and carry off your own bag you're in and out of the former Spruce Goose Hanger in record time.

We had a cabin with a genuine window and it was fine. Enough room for two, well lit, well air conditioned, and with a comfortable bed. There is a TV with a dozen or so channels.
