We stayed the Hyatt Place Convention Center near 17th. Perfect location. We were able to book the shuttle over to ship at very low rate($7 ea). Nice driver and close to docks. Also after day of travel, it was nice to be at a hotel with a shopping center next door. Several restaurant options at the Harcpbor Shops you can walk to.
Embarkation was well orchestrated and at 11:30am not too busy. Nice they let us on early for lunch. The cabins were ready at 1pm which is very reasonable. Cabin 6222 is very conveniently located mid ship near main elevators. Loved this location for convenience to the elevators and one floor above the cafe for coffee and pastries, and close to main atrium. Although just above the cafe/bistro not noisy at all.
The ship is beautiful and cabins quite roomy. I liked that we had full sofa next to balcony although not the most comfortable since doubles as a twin trundle (which we didn't need but would be great for kids). Our cabin attendants were very good and accommodated different times for turn down. Cabin storage however is a bit challenging. Only 5 drawers and closet for clothing storage. There are the big overhead storage units over the bed. Very hard to reach and see, or keep things straight. Works but plan on piling up most of your things there.
