If it wasn't for seniors (60 and above ) half the fine restaurants in the USA would go out of business in a week. Also 1/2 the cruise ships would be scrapped within a year. Seniors have the money and the time to travel at any time of the year. We have been on 4 Celebrity cruises and have no complaints, food was good to excellent , cabin and room attendants were superb. Embarking ( 20 minutes at most) and disembarking (15 minutes or less) were well organized.

Cruise was a cocktail cruise. They offered it to 130 people. It include 3 classes on making and tasting cocktails plus a 4 course Tuscan lunch with cocktail pairing.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

After 4 Celebrity cruises all room attendants were top notch, any problems were handled quickly. Have been in a Veranda room 3 times and Aqua room once. If you shop around when

pricing is close on a Veranda and Aqua it is worth it. But if difference is $300 per person more ,it is not worth it. Aqua Blu dining room is for Aqua class only. Room holds 100 to 125 people and never waited for seating. Service was great and food also. Aqua class has extra bonuses, separate line for and other departing , fruit everyday, water and Champaign on first day.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Rough water at town dock so we sailed to south side of island. Local boats holding 100 people or so put us on dock and busses took us to town.

(20 minute ride). 3 other ship tendered

Falmouth

Disney Magic beat us to dock by an hour. When we disembarked Disney people were coming back to their ship, one hour they lasted. The port had a shopping area of 60 stores and restaurants , This area was fenced in. You could leave and go into a small town, only those with cruise card could get back into shopping area and ship.
