Pros: Great ship, large cabins, friendly staff.

Cons: Guys Burgers the best, food in buffet, average, by the time you got it to your table it was barely warm. We had "your time dining" so we could only eat dinner in the lower level of the Golden restaurant. If you asked for a table for two, you indeed received one for two, but we always had another table beside ours and only about six inches apart, so you were indeed sitting with others, once it was six people at three tables, only inches apart. With your time dining this was the only place for us to eat other than the buffet, room service, or specailty restaurant. We had our "anniversary dinner" in the Steak House, which was very nice and the wait staff were excellent. Getting off the ship was an exercise in hurry up and wait. Out of the cabins by 08:30, and there were about a half dozen places we could wait and wait and wait. They announced that self assist persons could leave first, which is normal, you have to carry your own luggage, but the brochure stated no oversized bags. Most persons didn't heed that information and took off several bags including oversize suitcases. I think Carnival had issues with persons coming down to the gangway when they were not suppose to, as they made a few announcements to stay in the designated areas until their number was called. So three hours later our number was called only to wait another hour in the line-up for Customs. I guess we are too use to Norwegian and their Free Style Cruising, something that Carnival can't hold a candle to. This was our first cruise with Carnival. As I said before, the ship was beautiful and well maintained, with friendly staff. Back to Norwegian
