I read the reviews before my trip and came not expecting the best...I am a Royal Carib and Celebrity cruise loyal customer but I wanted to see Bermuda and this one offered 3 nts. in Bermuda so that was why I booked. Needless to say 4 days before the cruise I read on cruise critic that the ship would not get 3 nts. in Bermuda, no reason was ever given and big deal we got $50. onboard cr. per room. They could have given a little more for the bate and switch.
The ship is just beautiful and no one could ever find any faults with it other than toooo many mirrors looking at yourself, lol....A lot of walking involved, I was lucky to be on the 12th floor center, elevator was 2 doors away and up 2 flights to the buffet and down to the dining room. The shows were pretty good, Michael Jackson was about the best to me. The clubs were the best of any ship I have been on, with the entertainment and dancing, all kinds with whatever you wanted and a lot of people in them all the time. Very little on other ships...gambling the same as all the rest, I love casino's but do not bother gambling on any of the ships much because they don't pay out anything. The food at the buffet was slops but this is almost on all the ships, the dining room is usually the best place to eat. However food at night was good, I love fish and the salmon, shrimp etc. were very good, small portions but u could always order more. the lobster was the best I have ever had....the lunch was also good in the dining room the hamburger the best, buffet hamburgers looked cremated and not edible. the breakfast was better than the buffet but not much with poor service.
I had an inside cabin which was very small with not even a small sofa or chair to sit on, you had only a hassock to sit on.
