I have to say, this was our best cruise ever. I think the main reason we had such a good time is due to planning, eliminating the things we knew we didn't like and slowing down to enjoy ourselves.

We were a little concerned at first because we were detained getting on the ship due to norovirus but once they let us on everything seemed to be fine. There was no line at the port when we got there and went through registration quickly but they stopped letting people in right after we got there.

We started our morning by using room service for breakfast. They always called to let us know the food was on the way and being greeted by a cheerful voice always set the stage for the day. The gentleman who brought our food, Herbert, was so happy! When we asked for something special it was always there!

Junior Suite

The room was nice and comfortable. The bed at first was hard but when I got in it to sleep I never slept better. There was a vibration that we felt, never a sway from ocean movement. Our refrigerator went out but it was quickly replaced. The shower was nice, being in a bathtub. We will never do any room less that a Junior Suite now. It was perfect for eating breakfast in your room! The closet is huge! We had so much room to move in the room that it made all the difference.
