Had originally been booked on a different ship but carnival repositioned our ship and we got put on the splendor. Wasn't a lot of info out there so I was a little worried but we were very pleased with the ship. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 11 & 15.

The bad:

The ship layout on the lower floors are really not good. You canot walk from the middle of ship to the MDR. You have to go above or below to get to the dining area. Once you figured it out it was fine but just a little odd. Elevators are right there though to make it easier. The outdoor movie area is great but parents beware. The movies they showed were newer movies but the occasional "F" bomb during the 7:30 showtime was very inappropriate for little ones.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

Largest cabin we have had including balcony units. I assume because it is designed for 4 that is why it is larger but it was far better than we thought it was going to be. Plenty of room for the 4 of us.
