myself (39) and now my fiancee(30) embarked on our third cruise together and second on the glory we only live across the state, but decided to drive and arrive a day early staying at the Radisson inn. nice place with the advantage of the shuttle and free parking..one draw back we were given a room right across from party central !..two rooms from an unnamed frat was partying till the wee hours of the morning. i thought about calling the local sheriff but decided it wasn't worth it..also if you have a cellular phone check with your provider, cause i couldn't get any signal. the free breakfast buffet was ok..and we loaded up in the free shuttle service and was at the port in no time. processing at the terminal was hardly any wait at all..and we were onboard ready to start our third cruise. we walked around the ship , confirmed our supper club reservations and by 130 our cabin was ready..it was our first time on a balcony and once being on a balcony..we will never choose another..the muster drill was painless..even talked with people who lived not too far from us..our first overnight at sea was ok .. dinner was great meeting head server prawnee and her assistant ahnan who made us feel everynight like we were dining in there homes, also alex the bar server remembering our sodas ..we were at a four person table, but shared it alone..as the other two never showed up. the supper club was just an awesome experience even if its just once ..its a must..sasha and her assistant were just great..entertainment ..it was great and ok at the same time..michael macy and jr mccollom were some of the most funniest comedians i have seen..also tony albano was just ok ..also the debuted the new show "just rock " not too bad ..the voices of simone catalano and dj oliver were pretty good. also the cruise director butch begovich..which i had my doubts was ok..he is a young and developing director who was very amusing and informative..keep going butch ! "ya ". the ports of call were a first for us.. nassau our first stop ..we took the atlantis tour taking a tour of the grounds and looking at all the marine life our tour guide was very informative..one bad point nassau is very expensive..we stop at a ben and jerry's for the $8.50 cone yikes ! second stop was st thomas..we took the tour and a stop at megans bay beach..it rained slightly then went away..that was the case really through the cruise..but didnt put us down..the are a lot of narrow and winding roads in st thomas..some with awesome views..others with the hair standing up on your neck. our last stop was the dual island of st maarten..once again we took a tour..this time a very nice air condition bus ! also this island has lots of twist and turns..so hope the driver is a good one..we stop at the french capital marigot..lots of great deals at the flea market and great views ..we then went over to the dutch side ..were it got crowded and expensive..our last two days were at sea..going to the casino ( very unlucky ), past guest party, spa treatment and the most important thing was it was a very hard earned vacation for the both of us ..without my girlfriend..it might have not happened..thats why i asked her to be with me for the rest of my life..guess she will have to change her passport..just remember your on vacation !..enjoy and dont sweat the small details.
