I love NCL I think they are excellent this was my 5th cruise with them and I'm back on the Epic in August. I found the Spirit an elegant ship, everyone was lovely. We had some great Spa treatments, enjoyed the art seminars and auctions and every meal we had we enjoyed, le Bistro and Cagneys being the best. Our cabin was comfortable and our Steward superb little tip keep your cases under the bed it gives you a lot more room. I wouldn't go back to Casablanca anytime soon but Funchal was lovely. The Whale watching in Tenerife was fantastic. Overall we had a lovely spring break and the sun shone, I might not do this cruise itinery again but I would like to cruise on the Spirit again.

Port Reviews

Lanzarote

Quite an uninspiring area some shops and a fort but no enticing restaurants or cafes we spent 90 minutes of the ship and where disappointed we possibly should have done a trip

Madeira (Funchal)

A beautiful town we enjoyed just wandering around looking at the building and scenery stopped and had lunch. Ate icecream from the Ritz wandered round the park really enjoyed Funchal and would return.

Barcelona

Always enjoy Barcelona it's interesting, varied and the Gaudi influence is everywhere. Do the hop on hop off bus its gets you around everywhere. The cathedral is beautiful inside as well as out.
