Cabin: Balcony

Fourth carnival cruise over the last eight years. Our balcony cabin was partly above the piano bar on deck 6 and there was a little late night noise that bothered my wife a little. Our steward Made was top notch as were all of the other carnival employees we encountered.

Now for the not so good. The shows were not as good as when they had a live band and this really disappointed my wife. We did not book an excursion at our first port because we do not snorkel or zip line so we went to the beach and it was a big disappointment because of the crowds.

Our next port was Belize and we booked the river and ruins with Carnival. We were an hour late getting off the ship (Carnival over booked the tours ) The tour was excellent and the guides better than that. We got back to the tenders half an hour after the ship was supposed to leave and never got to enter a shop. All and all a cruise is what you make it and this one was OK. Even with all the cut backs Carnival is making.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

This is a normal 8a balcony but it is above the piano bar so expect muted noise for below till after midnight.
