This was a very enjoyable cruise and once again Thompson's looked after us very well from departing and returning to Newcastle Airport. We were met and welcomed at the port by members of the fabulous show team, check-in very quick and we were onboard within 10 minutes. We were then shown to our cabin by members of the house-keeping staff.

OK the ship is quite dated and the layout of the pool decks is a little different to other ships we've cruised on before, however the bars, restaurants, theatre and other public areas are very well furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our outside cabin, deck 9 was also very clean and comfortable and well serviced by the very attentive house keeping crew.

We ate in all the restaurants on-board and found the food to be excellent, very tasty, good choice available and hot every time. The staff were also very attentive and their service was faultless. Read more
