I splurged for a family trip, 2 adults, 2 teens, adjoining balcony cabins with beverage packages for all. The pre-set items lime decor, layout, were ok with a coup,e exceptions such as insanely overcrowded main pool with NOT enough available seating! Drink service VERY slow about 15 minutes for table service and despite prepaying for a drink package EVERY drink (1 at a time limit so I couldn't even go get them for both wife and I withiut her ID) was run thru a register slowing the process WAY down. I drink ONLY non-alcoholic beer do it's not like I was dying to chug a bunch to get drunk either.

Staff enthusiasm was minimal ant those with real upbeat attitudes (not appearing staged) were few and far between and a pleasure to be around. As an example, the asst cruise director was standing stocky at a podium reading something then in a flash turned into a character of a game show host making it so obvious his persona wasn't necessarily outgoing he just had the ability to switch it on instantaneously. While comparing to one other staff participant seen "be-bopping" around ahead of the game and seemed to just have that upbeat outgoing happy demeanor. They should realize they are "on stage" at all times. Director "Dingo Dave" seemed to be genuinely upbeat almost laughing as he was seemingly having genuine fun with the cruisers.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

Embarkation point was chaotic - no tours here. Dropped family off and parked. Lot was full and I was trapped in line to get to remote parking. My truck was too big for the garage and had to go to oversized vehicle lot the process took a good 2 hours before I got back to my family inside the terminal!
