My husband and I have been on at least 10 cruises with different cruise lines (Celebrity, Carnival, Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian). We love cruising because we can unpack our bags for the week and end up at a different place every few days. Unfortunately we must travel when school kids travel. Yup I'm a teacher....but retiring soon!

We had a great room, Aft deck with a huge balcony, cabin 9920. Loved it. The room steward was good, not great. The room was not cleaned very well when we got there. It still had hand prints on the cabinets, a dirty sock under the bed, a glass on the floor, next to the bed and a bathroom garbage that still had garbage in it. Yeah that was gross!

Embarkation was smooth, but I have to admit that we did sneak on before our number was called. It was so crowded that they were not checking if we had the correct number. We never did hand in our number.

Cabin B1

Great cabin, great balcony, loved it..close to the elevator, but far from the spa, theater, fitness center.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

We left the ship at 10 AM and had a nice tender over to the island. We left the masses of people converging on the closest beach and took the tram over to tram stop #4. It was empty and couldn't decide where to sit. We finally decided to stay away from the lagoon and sat by a small area. We had it to ourselves for at least 2 hours. It must of gotten so crowded in the other areas, people were wandering over and enjoying the solitude of tram stop #4. The food was typical, but the mixed drinks were TERRIBLE! I ended up drinking beer and I really don't like beer.

Nassau

Took a $4 cab ride to Cabbage Beach. Brought my own float and snacks and enjoyed 3 hours of the most spectacular sand and waters. Did not have a chair, but did have a float that I had brought from home. It was the beach where the taxi driver drops you off and then that specific cab driver comes back for you. They drop you off by a small CVS type shop and you can buy drinks and snacks, but bring your own.
