Traveled on Spring Break April 5th. Had a wonderful cruise! We were faster to the Fun and it was worth every penny! We (Hubby, myself and Grandson) had a Cove Balcony connecting room with my Mom, Grand-daughter and her best friend. Our room stewart was Michael and he was an absolute godsend. Provided ice at least 2x a day and kept the room ship shape.
We had the 6pm dining in the Scarlet dining room. We had hoped to get Crimsom as my Mom was in a scooter due to breathing issues, but that was simply not in the cards this trip although we did try to get it changed. We had a wonderful wait staff team led by Suntana. He did a great job and had my Mom smiling at every meal. We were promptly seated and waited on and the food for the most part was quite good.
Overall we are planning another Carnival trip next year and can't wait to try out the new Carnival Vista when she comes to Florida!!
We were 2 parties of 3 each connecting and while it was a bit tight at some times overall it was certainly doable.
Shopping Fun!! We loved the Key West port. This was the highlight of the cruise for sure. Easy on and off the ship. Wish it would have stayed in port a bit longer.
This port had many stalls to purchase trinkets. Overall we had a good time shopping. We stayed just the right amount of time at this port. I thought a few passengers may have almost missed the ship!
Not a huge fan of NO. We had to do alot of backtracking. We did stay at the Quality Inn and were supposed to get a shuttle ride to the port but they had shuttle issues and 2 were not running so it was a bit of a wait for my party of 8. The room was ok and the staff were friendly.
