This was honestly one of the best cruises that we have ever been on. An absolutely outstanding crew, so many went out of their way to make our vacation a memorable, personalized experience. The officers on board this ship are very visible and interactive with the guests. More so than on any other cruise (and there have been many on multiple lines) in my experience. Yes, the ship is older, but it has had a beautiful rehab and we found it to be the perfect size for the 3 of us. No desire to be on the 5000 passenger ships :) I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews on here - but if you are hesitating, don't- it was a fabulous experience for us. We had a 70yr old, a 49yr old and a 9year old and we were all happy.
As for excursions:
Maya key in Roatan -a peaceful not crowded day at a private beach that was 3 minutes by boat rode from the ship. Awesome snorkeling, really enjoyed the sea bass for lunch
So much room and storage! Loved this cabin, huge bathroom with a shower and tub and a bidet. 2 lounge chairs and small tables on the balcony. Lots of room with pull around curtains around the bed and the sitting room (and extra bed) area. All the furnishings were in great shape and our steward Anton was awesome! Lots of suite benefits on this ship.
