There were many disappointments on this highly touted river cruise to Normandy and back. First we did not dock in Paris as advertised and promised, but rather an hour from downtown and did not tell us until we boarded. This was the prime reason for the booking and no alternative dates were offered. Second, Internet service was the poorest of any cruise in the past 10 years. Third, there were many poor decisions made during this cruise to the detriment of passengers. No church service on Easter Sunday was arranged until the last minute. Food was mediocre at best with small portions and limited daily options. There was no room service food and lines were as long or longer than on most of the large ships we have been on. If you are used to top quality entertainment, shopping, activities on board, forget it on this ship. There was no money exchange service, Discover card not accepted, and no pre-recorded information about upcoming ports as on other ships. We were taken to the airport four hours before our flight and had to place luggage in the hall at 5:15 AM on disembarkation day, nearly six hours before flight time. What we thought would be our best cruise experience turned out to be the worst.

Cabin Review

Cabin Walk-out veranda

Very small, but adequate. TV was sporadic during the first few days and room Wifi too weak to be useful.
