this was my families second cruise after sailing on the spirit this time last year and enjoyed the experience so much and thought the value for money was exceptional we booked carnivals other ship the legend. although the layout of the ships both identical and the decor all very simlar i could honestly say if you are a first timer and cant choose between the 2 ships i think the spirit offered that little more for the australian public.

Service was pretty well much on par but i just thought the red frog pub and some of the other bars did not match the spirits entertainment and atmosphere as the spirits bars.

the green thunder matched the spirits but the other kids slide well it pretty well sucked compared to the spirits , i dont know how the kids enjoyed it as getting stuck down the slide cause its so slow well it was not enjoyable to me and my 12 year son pretty well said thumbs down on the legends slide but on the plus the legend had comfortable pods up on the same deck for all to relax in where as the spirit on my voyage did not how ever they might be there now not sure.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

clean although some repairs were required and had to jam the balcony door fully closed each night by wedging the lock as the wind was whistling through and tormenting

staff were incredible
