We arrived at the port around 11:00am with our two sons ages 12 and 15, we dropped off our luggage and were then directed to bldg C for parking, which is a very quick and easy walk to board the ship. There was many people boarding but they were organized and we were walking onto the boat within 30 minutes. We were welcomed by music, balloons and crew staff dancing and cheering. The boat itself is impressive in size and decor, and while it might seem overwhelming at first there are touch screens though out the ship that have maps, listed activites, and deck plans. We decided to eat in one of the mdr's to avoid the crowds at the buffet. I would recommend this because we were sitting in a quiet, lovely dining room and eating in just a few minutes of boarding.

Activities: Wow, they have so many fun activites each day it really is hard to fit them all in. There were several places including the Howl at the Moon dueling piano bar that we never had time to go to. The crew staff led by " Jersey Boy, and Tyler were awesome, funny and always around the boat. Some of our favorite games were Bingo, Deal or No Deal, Sing it if you know it, music trivia games, Majority Rules, and Family Friendly Feud. There are two main shows, Burn the Floor and latin dance show, and Legally Blond. Both were great, however they are a bit risque and should be listed as pg13.

Dining: We ate at all mdr's except Tropicana and the Noodle Bar. O'Sheehans was a fun place to hang out too, however the food was hit or miss. The garden buffet is great and is open all the time. They even have late night party foods there till 11:30, along with hard ice cream and sundae toppings. The crepes are not to miss, so yummy. The food in the mdrs is good, however I do feel like they put more attention on the paid restaurants and therefore the mdrs are not as good as they could ne. The ports are great, on tip is in Nassau walk about 15 mins and you will go to a free nice beach called Junkaroo. Also if your cruise has a meet and greet go to it because it was a great way to meet the crew and they sent several treats to our room from the hotel director. We used the i concerage app and it was great, the phone portion did not work 100% of the time but the texting did and it was great to have all the activities right on your phone. Medical: My son did rupture his ear drum in St. Maarten and we had to go to Medical. The Dr was great, and we were in and out in 35 minutes. Its good to know that in case of emergency they can help you. I was surprised to see that they have a full icu available and 3 drs and nurses that are aon staff.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

Cabin IE

Cabin: We had two inside cabins on deck 5 right behind the Medical Center. This location was perfect for us at a great price. Many of the activites are on floors 6-8 and our close location helped limit our elevator time. Our cabin had a very comfortable king bed, refrigerator, nice bathroom, hair dryer and a desk area. It was fine for two of us. The room had a flat screen television with several news channels, a couple of kid channels and a large variety of both free and pay per view movies. This was a nice touch as our last night we just went to bed early and enjoyed a movie. Our cabin steward Sheldon was around frequently and had ice in the room, cute towel animals ,and had our room in top shape each day. The Atrium on deck 6 is filled with comfortable couches and chairs, a bar and guest services, along with a band area and very large screen for movies and other games. However, due to nightly music on the 6th floor there was some room noise at night, but we were so tired from the day it wasnt an issue.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We took our own taxi to Orient Beach, for 7$ one way, and 8$ back to the boat. This is a nice beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent and restrooms. This does have a nude area as well.

St. Thomas

We took a taxi to Meagans Bay. Wow!!!! Beautiful. And if you take your own taxi you arrive there well before the crowds and we had the beach to ourselves the first 45 minutes.

Nassau

Walk to Junkaroo beach past the straw market and enjoy a beach for free. There are taxi drivers offering a 4$ ride to the beach but it is an easy short walk through town.
