Sail Date: Apr 2015

Great cruise around British Isles, helped by excellent, sunny weather apart from Kirkwall.

Nice sized ship, around 800 passengers, most aged 70 plus. (Average age way above 60).

On board staff excellent, most from Ukraine; restaurant staff and chefs, mainly Indian.

Cabin Review

Very good, powerful shower and good loo flush.

Poor, old-fashioned, portable-style TV...three decent films (eg, Boyhood, Great Gatsby, 22 Jump St) changed daily on repeat, BBC news channel.

Comfy beds and good lighting.

Room service which you pay for (apart from continental breakfast).

Port Reviews

Kirkwall

Not nearly enough time at Italian Chapel on'Leisurely Orkney' tour...just 20 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Yet stopped off for almost an hour for a cup of tea and a scone.
