I know we are relative newbies, but this was our 8th cruise. We've done the Carnival (for a younger crowd), and the Princess, Holland America, and Royal Caribbean---all of which we nice. But the Celebrity Reflection more than exceeded our expectations! The staff were ALL friendly and helpful. The food was very good, and we enjoyed the entertainment.
One of the best things was the 1-2-3 Go Promotion. We've always bought a drink package-- and our experience has always been that the staff on other ships acted as if we were an inconvenience at best and second-class cruisers at best. But the staff on the Reflections were very accomadating and did not seem to mind at all that we were using a drink package. That really set the tone for the entire cruise.
Even embarkation and demarcation went so well. No long lines.
Cabin Review
Deluxe Ocean View with Verandah 2B
Typical cruise cabin with small veranda. But the beds were extremely comfy. And the air conditioner actually cooled well. The steward was not hovering but always there when needed and kept the room clean.
I'm not 100% sure of our veranda category. It was one of the less expensive ones.
