The Jewel is an older ship but it is very well maintained and in great shape.

First, the good;

1.) rear facing balcony cabin 7171- roomy and comfortable - beautiful view- this cabin is above Club Safari but the noise was not intrusive at all, and any noise ended by 11pm. The bed was comfortable. Our cabin steward left us extra towels and kept our room sparking clean.

Port Reviews

St. Lucia

Beautiful island - we toured with a guide and saw the usual sites and attractions- we booked on our own ( half the price of the ship excursion) . Lots of things to do and see here.

Antigua

we rented atvs ( on our own) and explored the island - this may be dangerous for some so I don't recommend it but we had a wonderful time. The maps had a lot of sites to see

San Juan

we flew in and out of this islands so I have no comments about touring- we have been to Puerto Rico before- the Bacardi factory is a must see. The airport is easy to use.
